    EXECUTIVE ORDER: 07-12

    FOR: PARDON


    TO ALL TO WHOM THESE PRESENTS MAY COME, GREETINGS;

    WHEREAS, ALLEN BOLLENBACHER, who has petitioned for a pardon, was convicted in 1984 in Jay County of Criminal Recklessness, for which he served a sentence of thirty (30) days incarceration, five-hundred (500) hours of community service and five (5) years of probation; and

    WHEREAS, the petitioner, who successfully completed his probation, is a married 45-year-old Indiana resident and has two (2) children; and

    WHEREAS, the petitioner has numerous letters of support from family, friends, co-workers, past and present employees, and community leaders, all of whom recommend that his petition for pardon be granted; and

    WHEREAS, the petitioner has been a resident of Indiana, maintained steady employment and lived an upstanding life; and

    WHEREAS, the petitioner is a family man who involves himself in his community, is the Facility Manager for the Harvest Land Co-op, and this pardon is required to fulfill his duties to handle hazardous materials at Harvest Land Co-op; and

    WHEREAS, the Parole Board, after careful investigation and examination of all the facts in this case, has unanimously recommended that this pardon be granted.

    NOW THEREFORE, I, Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr., Governor of the State of Indiana, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of said State, do hereby issue a pardon to ALLEN BOLLENBACHER.

    IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I, Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr., have hereunto set my hand and caused to be affixed the Great Seal of the State of Indiana on this 12th day of October, 2007.
