Section 905IAC1-36-5. Subpoenas, discovery orders, and protective orders

(a) The hearing judge, at the request of any party or the commission, shall, and upon the hearing judge's own motion may, issue:

(1) subpoenas;

(2) discovery orders; and

(3) protective orders;

in accordance with the rules of procedure governing discovery, depositions, and subpoenas in civil actions in the courts.

(b) The party seeking the order shall serve the order in accordance with these rules of procedure. Service shall be rendered in accordance with the rules of civil procedure.
