Rule 410IAC7-24. Sanitary Standards for the Operation of Retail Food Establishments |
Section 410IAC7-24-31. "Equipment" defined
-
(a) "Equipment" means an article that is used in the operation of a retail food establishment, such as the following:
(1) A freezer.
(2) A grinder.
(3) A hood.
(4) An ice maker.
(5) A meat block.
(6) A mixer.
(7) An oven.
(8) A reach-in refrigerator.
(9) A scale.
(10) A sink.
(11) A slicer.
(12) A stove.
(13) A table.
(14) A temperature measuring device for ambient air.
(15) A vending machine.
(16) A warewashing machine.
(b) The term does not include items used for handling or storing large quantities of packaged foods that are received from a supplier in a cased or overwrapped lot, such as the following:
(1) Hand trucks.
(2) Forklifts.
(3) Dollies.
(4) Pallets.
(5) Racks.
(6) Skids.
