Notice of Intent to Adopt a Rule

Under IC 4-22-2-23, the Indiana Gaming Commission intends to adopt a rule concerning the following:

OVERVIEW: Amends 68 IAC 5-1-2 to specify that the Indiana Gaming Commission may consider the extent to which the state of Indiana shares in the benefit of a proposed transfer of ownership as a factor in evaluating the proposed transfer and to reduce the number of copies of an application that an applicant must submit. Amends 68 IAC 5-2-2 to add references to "gambling games" as authorized in IC 4-35 and to specify that the Indiana Gaming Commission may consider the extent to which the state of Indiana shares in the benefit of a proposed transfer of ownership as a factor in evaluating the proposed transfer. Makes numerous technical changes. Statutory authority: IC 4-33-4-1; IC 4-33-4-2; IC 4-33-4-3; IC 4-33-4-21; IC 4-35-4-1; IC 4-35-4-2; IC 4-35-4-3; IC 4-35-4-7.
