TITLE 80 STATE FAIR COMMISSION

Notice of Intent to Adopt a Rule

Under IC 4-22-2-23, the State Fair Commission intends to adopt a rule concerning the following:

OVERVIEW: This rulemaking will amend 80 IAC 1 governing the procurement of property by the commission in order to increase the efficiency of the procurement process. It will amend 80 IAC 2 governing real property contracting procedures in order to increase the efficiency of the procurement process. It will amend 80 IAC 3 governing the disposal of property by further defining the meaning of property and by adding methods for the disposal of worthless property. The rulemaking will amend 80 IAC 4 governing general operations within the state fairgrounds in order to promote safety and efficiency of operations. This rulemaking will make other revisions and changes to the aforementioned rules in order to update the rules, add definitions, and eliminate redundant language. The rulemaking will add 80 IAC 5.1-1 to place the commission under the jurisdiction and rules adopted by the state ethics commission.
