    Under IC 4-22-2-23, the State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers intends to adopt a rule concerning the following:

    OVERVIEW: Amends 864 IAC 1.1-1-1 to clarify accredited degree. Amends 864 IAC 1.1-1-4 to update exam qualifications. Adds 864 IAC 1.1-2.1 to define education and work experience and to update and clarify education definitions and requirements. Amends 864 IAC 1.1-4.1-2 to comply with the additional IAC reference. Amends 864 IAC 1.1-4.1-3.5 to update examination schedule. Amends 864 IAC 1.1-5-1 with added IAC reference. Amends 864 IAC 1.1-5-4 to clarify examination attempts timeline. Amends 864 IAC 1.1-7-3 to update the application of seal and signature requirement. Amends 864 IAC 1.1-8-1 to clarify renewal requirements. Amends 864 IAC 1.1-9 to update "roster" to "address change". Amends 864 IAC 1.1-9-1 to clarify notification of change of address requirement. Amends 864 IAC 1.1-11-24 to update disclosure of a conviction of a crime requirement. Amends 864 IAC 1.1-11-25 to update discipline language. Repeals 864 IAC 1.1-2-2 and 864 IAC 1.1-2-4 concerning qualifications for examination. Comments and questions may be addressed to the Small Business Regulatory Coordinator for this rule.
