Section 844IAC5-5-10. "Local anesthesia" defined

  •    As used in this rule, "local anesthesia" means a transient and reversible loss of sensation in a circumscribed portion of the body produced by:

    (1) a local anesthetic agent; or

    (2) cooling a circumscribed area of the skin.
