  •    "Institution of higher education approved by the board", as used in IC 25-23.6-5-1, means an institution of higher education that has a program that is accredited or approved for candidacy by the Council on Social Work Education at the time the applicant was granted the degree. For an applicant whose degree was granted prior to June 30, 1995, the term also includes a nonaccredited program in social work or clinical social work from an institution of higher education.
