Section 820IAC3-1-6. Disinfectants

(a) All implements, except those that come in contact with blood or body fluids, shall be disinfected by complete immersion in a bactericidal, viricidal, and fungicidal disinfectant that is mixed and used according to the manufacturer's directions.
(b) All implements that have come in contact with blood or body fluids shall be disinfected by complete immersion in an EPA registered bactericide, viricide, fungicide, and tuberculocidal disinfectant that is mixed and used according to the manufacturer's directions.
(c) Spills, except those that contain blood or body fluids, shall be disinfected by use of an EPA registered bactericidal, viricidal, and fungicidal disinfectant that is mixed and used according to the manufacturer's directions.
(d) Spills that do contain blood or body fluids shall be disinfected by use of an EPA registered bactericidal, viricidal, fungicidal, and tuberculocidal disinfectant that is mixed and used according to the manufacturer's directions.
