Rule 760IAC4-9. Continuing Education |
Section 760IAC4-9-1. Navigator continuing education course of study

To qualify as an approved navigator continuing education course of study for purposes of IC 27-19-4-12 and 760 IAC 4-3-6, a navigator continuing education course of study shall meet the following:
(1) Be conducted or developed by a provider that is at least one (1) of the following:
(A) An individual.
(B) An insurance trade association.
(C) An accredited college or university.
(D) An educational organization.
(E) An application organization.
(2) Relate to the duties of a navigator regarding:
(A) health benefit exchanges;
(B) public health insurance programs;
(C) conflicts of interest and ethics;
(D) privacy and security of information; or
(E) Indiana insurance laws.
(3) Be approved by the commissioner under this rule.
