"Designee" refers to any person, including an employee, to which a dealer or manufacturer has granted the use of a vehicle, under IC 9-32-6-9 [IC 9-32-6-9 was repealed by P.L.151-2015, SECTION 48, effective July 1, 2015.], in the dealer's or manufacturer's inventory displaying a dealer-new, dealer-used, or manufacturer registration plate.
