Section 71IAC6-2-1. Types of races permitted

In presenting a program of racing, the racing secretary shall use exclusively the following types of races:
(1) Overnight events which include:
(A) conditioned races;
(B) claiming races;
(C) preferred, invitational, handicap, open, or free-for-all races;
(D) schooling races; and
(E) matinee races.
(2) Added money events which include:
(A) stakes;
(B) futurities;
(C) early closing events; and
(D) late closing events.
(3) Match races.
(4) Qualifying races.
