Section 65IAC1-3-1. Employment status

Employees of the commission are not employees of the state of Indiana. Employees of the commission serve at the pleasure of the director and are subject to suspension, dismissal, reduction in pay, demotion, transfer, or other personnel action at the discretion of the director. Except as provided in IC 4-30-6, employees shall not be hired or fired on the basis of political affiliation.
