Section 515IAC6-1-9. Certification prior to July 1, 2010

Latest version.

   (a) All certifications valid as of June 30, 2010 and issued under the provisions of prior rules governing interpreter standards for the deaf and hard of hearing in educational settings shall remain valid until July 1, 2012.

  (b) A permit that is valid on the first day of school in the school in which the permit holder is employed is considered valid for the duration of that school year.

  (c) The holder of an educational interpreter certification issued under prior rules is subject to the renewal requirements of 515 IAC 6-1-6 [section 6 of this rule].
