Section 410IAC7-24-316. Wiping cloths; air drying locations

  •    (a) Wiping cloths laundered in a retail food establishment that does not have a mechanical clothes dryer as specified in section 311(b) of this rule shall be air-dried in a location and in a manner that prevents contamination of the following:

    (1) Food.

    (2) Equipment.

    (3) Utensils.

    (4) Linens.

    (5) Single-service and single-use articles.

    (6) Wiping cloths.

    This section does not apply if wiping cloths are stored after laundering in a sanitizing solution as specified under section 294 of this rule.

      (b) For purposes of this section, a violation of subsection (a) is a noncritical item.
