  •    "Lead-based paint activities" means the inspection, risk assessment, and remediation of lead-based paint in target housing and child-occupied facilities. The term includes interim controls, abatement, and clearance examination. Lead-based paint activities do not include work being completed under the Environmental Protection Agency's Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Rule.
