Section 410IAC1-2.5-2. "Active surveillance" defined

  •    "Active surveillance" means taking any measures to identify all cases of a communicable disease by the local health officer or department, including, but not limited to, calling or otherwise contacting:

    (1) physicians;

    (2) hospitals;

    (3) clinics;

    (4) laboratories; and

    (5) others who might be aware of cases of disease, such as school nurses and coroners.
