  •    A seed mixture consisting of two (2) or more varieties of the same kind may be designated as a "blend" of seed. The word "blend" must be included as a part of the name of the blend. The variety name of each component of a blend shall be shown on the label along with the percentage by weight of each component in excess of five percent (5%) and the germination percentage and hard seed percentage, if applicable, of each component.

      The variety designation of each component, the percentage by weight of each component, and the germination percentage and hard seed percentage, if applicable, of each component may be omitted if the label states the kind of seed and the words "varieties not stated". The blend may be represented by one common pure seed percentage, one germination percentage, and one hard seed percentage, if applicable, for the blend as a whole.
