Section 35IAC20-1-12. HIPAA

   The PERF 401(h) Accounts administered by the PERF 401(h) accounts team will be designated as a "health care component" of PERF pursuant to 45 CFR 164.105 and 164.504(b) and will comply with the "privacy regulations" and the "security regulations" found at 45 CFR Parts 160 and 164, as they may be amended from time to time, issued under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, governing the use and disclosure of protected health information and electronic protected health information.
