Section 35IAC14-1-25. "Benefit accrual date" defined

   (a) For members who choose not to delay their retirement date after ceasing employment, the benefit accrual date is the date in which a member ceases service.

  (b) For all other members, the benefit accrual date is their retirement date chosen pursuant to IC 5-10.2-4-1.3 and in accordance with IC 5-10.2-4-1(d)(3).
