  •    "Karst terrain" means an area where karst topography, including the characteristic surface and subterranean features, has developed as the result of dissolution of limestone, dolomite, or other soluble rock. Characteristic physiographic features present in karst terrains include the following:

    (1) Sinkholes.

    (2) Sinking streams.

    (3) Caves.

    (4) Large springs.

    (5) Blind valleys.
