Section 327IAC19-2-12. "Discharge" defined

  •    "Discharge", for purposes of this article, means any addition of any pollutant, or combination of pollutants, into any waters of the state from a point source. The term includes, without limitation, an addition of a pollutant into any waters of the state from the following:

    (1) Surface runoff that is collected or channeled by human activity.

    (2) Discharges through pipes, sewers, or other conveyances, including natural channels, that do not lead to treatment works.
