Any employee wishing to leave in good standing shall give the appointing authority at least two (2) weeks written notice in advance of separation. Under unusual circumstances, less time may be considered as sufficient to permit the employee to leave the service in good standing. Failure to comply with this requirement shall be entered on the service record of the employee and may be the cause of denying future employment.
