Section 312IAC25-4-110. Review, public participation, and approval or disapproval of permit applications and permit terms and conditions; written comments on permit applications

   (a) Written comments on permit applications may be submitted to the director by the public entities to whom notification is provided under section 109(e) of this rule, with respect to the effects of the proposed mining operations on the environment within their area of responsibility.

  (b) These comments shall be submitted to the director within thirty (30) days of notification.

  (c) The director will immediately transmit a copy of all such comments for filing and public inspection at the library where the applicant filed a copy of the application for permit under section 109(b) of this rule. A copy will also be transmitted to the applicant.
