  •    "In situ process" means an activity conducted on the surface or underground in connection with inplace distillation, retorting, leaching, or other chemical or physical processing of coal. The term includes, but is not limited to, the following:

    (1) In situ gasification.

    (2) In situ leaching.

    (3) Slurry mining.

    (4) Solution mining.

    (5) Borehole mining.

    (6) Fluid recovery mining.
