Rule 312IAC9-2. Restrictions and Standards Applicable to Wild Animals |
Section 312IAC9-2-12. Hunting, fishing, and the discharge of firearms and bow and arrows within 200 feet of a property administered by the department
-
(a) A restriction which applies to taking or chasing a wild animal on a property owned or administered by the department also applies to the portion of a navigable waterway located within two hundred (200) feet of the property. However, exempted from this subsection is any area of the navigable waterway which is immediately adjacent to and within one hundred (100) feet of land owned by a person other than the department.
(b) On a navigable waterway which is located within two hundred (200) feet of a property owned or administered by the division of state parks, the division of state museums and historic sites, or the division of nature preserves (other than a nature preserve administered by the division of fish and wildlife) of the department, a person must not discharge:
(1) a firearm; or
(2) an arrow.
