Rule 312IAC25-3. Areas Unsuitable for Mining |
Section 312IAC25-3-12. Implementation; responsibility

(a) The director shall not issue permits that are inconsistent with designations made under this article.
(b) The director shall maintain a map or other unified and cumulative record of areas designated as unsuitable for all or certain types of surface coal mining operations.
(c) The director shall make available to any person any information within its control regarding designations, including mineral or elemental content that is potentially toxic in the environment, but excepting proprietary information on the chemical and physical properties of the coal.
