Section 210IAC1-6-7. Research purposes; request for access to information

  •    All requests for access to offender or juvenile records for research purposes shall be made to the director of planning services in written form. Such requests shall include the name of the agency or organization performing the research, the names of the persons directly responsible for the following:

    (1) Conducting such research.

    (2) The purpose of such research.

    (3) How the research is to be performed.

    (4) What measures will be taken to assure the proper protection of classified information.

    Approval of such requests will then be granted or denied consistent with provisions of IC 4-1-6-8.6 and department procedures.
