Section 105IAC9-4-8. Specific information permitted

  •    (a) The types of services signs permitted are:

    (1) "GAS";

    (2) "FOOD";

    (3) "LODGING";

    (4) "CAMPING"; and

    (5) "ATTRACTION";

    with a maximum of three (3) services per specific service sign. To qualify for display on a specific service sign, the service facility must meet the requirements outlined in section 13 of this rule.

      (b) The number of specific service signs permitted is limited to a maximum of two (2) for each type of service up to a maximum of four (4) specific service signs along an approach to an interchange. The number of logo panels permitted on a specific service sign is specified in section 11 of this rule. When unused space on a service sign is used to display an additional service, the unused space shall be used as provided in section 11(c) of this rule.
