Notice of Public Hearing

Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on September 29, 2011, at 1:00 p.m., at the Indiana Department of Education Riley Room, 151 West Ohio Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Indiana State Board of Education will hold a public hearing on proposed changes to Title 511 of the Indiana Administrative Code to add 511 IAC 5-5 to create procedure to protect test integrity, to describe applicability, to provide definitions that apply throughout the rule, to require the Indiana Department of Education to establish and publish a Code of Ethical Practices and Procedures, to require the Indiana Department of Education to establish and publish a Protocol for Reporting and Investigating Alleged Breaches or Irregularities, and to require the Indiana Department of Education to establish and publish Indiana Testing Security and Integrity Agreement.

The proposed rule would not impose requirements or costs under IC 4-22-2-24(d)(3).

Copies of these rules are now on file at the Indiana Department of Education, 151 West Ohio Street and Legislative Services Agency, Indiana Government Center North, 100 North Senate Avenue, Room N201, Indianapolis, Indiana and are open for public inspection.
