Notice for Public Comment
Notice is hereby given that the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) will submit to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) an Access Monitoring Review Plan for compliance with 42 CFR 447.203(b).
PURPOSE
On November 2, 2015, CMS issued final regulations regarding a transparent data-driven process for states to document whether Medicaid payments are sufficient to enlist providers to ensure beneficiary access to covered care and services consistent with Section 1902(a)(30)(A) of the Social Security Act and to address issues raised by that process. As part of this process, states are required to develop a medical assistance access monitoring review plan. This plan must be finalized and submitted to CMS by October 1, 2016.
SUBMISSION OF COMMENTS
The Access Monitoring Review Plan may be located at http://www.in.gov/fssa/ompp/5220.htm. Paper copies of the plan will be available upon request for public inspection at local DFR offices and at the address contained herein.
The public comment period will run from September 1, 2016, through September 30, 2016. All comments must be received during the comment period.
