    Under IC 4-22-2-23, the State Personnel Department intends to adopt a rule concerning the following:

    OVERVIEW: Adds a new article 31 IAC 5 that abridges and recodifies all of the rules of the State Personnel Department. Changes are intended to eliminate redundancies, streamline procedures, and update the description of current practices. Topics include employment applications, appointment, service ratings, classification, compensation, hours of work, overtime, leaves, disciplinary actions, and separations. Repeals all existing rules of the State Personnel Department that are applicable to the executive branch. Questions concerning the proposed rule may be addressed to the following telephone number: (317) 232-3062. Statutory authority: IC 4-15-2.2-19.
