    Under IC 4-22-2-23, the Indiana State Department of Health intends to adopt a rule concerning the following:

    OVERVIEW: Amends 410 IAC 6-8.3 concerning the definition of residential sewer, amends the requirement for ownership of a temporary sewage holding tank, amends the separation distance between an on-site sewage system and a lake or reservoir used as a public water supply, amends the requirement for the construction of septic tank baffles, clarifies the daily flow rating for septic tank outlet filters, amends the discharge rate for flood dosed systems, corrects the volume of a dosing tank under certain conditions, and amends the requirement for removal of abandoned buried electric lines. Written comments may be submitted to the Indiana State Department of Health, 2 North Meridian Street, Indianapolis, IN 46204. Statutory authority: IC 16-19-3-4.
