Supplemental Public Notice Regarding Changes in Statewide Methods and Standards for Setting Payments for Medicaid Enrolled Intermediate Care Facilities for the Mentally Retarded

In accordance with the public notice requirements of 42 CFR 447.205 and Section 1902(a)(13)(A) of the Social Security Act, the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (IFSSA), Office of Medicaid Policy and Planning (OMPP) publishes this supplement to the notice of proposed changes to the reimbursement methodology for nonstate-owned intermediate care facilities for the mentally retarded that was published on July 25, 2012, at DIN: 20120725-IR-405120444ONA.

This change will result in increased Medicaid reimbursement to nonstate-owned intermediate care facilities for the mentally retarded of approximately $13.5 million in SFY 2012 and $19.6 million in SFY 2013.

A copy of this supplement and the public notice is now on file at the Indiana Government Center South, 402 West Washington Street, Room W451, Indianapolis, Indiana and is open for public inspection. Also, a copy of this supplement and the public notice is now available and may be inspected by contacting the local county office of the Division of Family Resources, except in Marion County, where inspection may be made at the Office of Medicaid Policy and Planning, Indiana Government Center South, 402 West Washington Street, Room W374, Indianapolis, Indiana.
