TITLE 312 NATURAL RESOURCES COMMISSION

DIGEST

Temporarily adds a definition of minnow in 312 IAC 9-6-1 under IC 14-8-2-167. Effective August 1, 2014.

SECTION 1. (a) This SECTION is supplemental to 312 IAC 9-6-1.

(b) "Minnow" means the following:

(1) Species of the minnow family Cyprinidae, except the following:

(A) exotic species identified at 312 IAC 9-6-7; and

(B) endangered species identified at 312 IAC 9-6-9.

(2) The following species:

(A) sucker;

(B) brook stickleback (Culaea inconstans);

(C) gizzard shad;

(D) threadfin shad; and

(E) alewife.

(3) Notwithstanding IC 14-22-16, 312 IAC 9-7-15, and 312 IAC 9-7-16, live gizzard shad, threadfin shad, and alewife may only be collected, used, possessed, and disposed of in accordance with 312 IAC 9-6-8.

SECTION 2. This document takes effect August 1, 2014.

SECTION 3. This document expires on July 31, 2015.
