TITLE 312 NATURAL RESOURCES COMMISSION

DIGEST

Temporarily amends 312 IAC 9-4-11 to govern the taking of wild turkeys during the fall season and to specify the locations for taking wild turkeys in the fall season as authorized by 312 IAC 9-4-11(e). Effective October 1, 2010.

SECTION 1. (a) This SECTION of this document supersedes 312 IAC 9-4-11(b).

(b) An individual may take a wild turkey with a bow and arrow, including a crossbow, under this SECTION of this document from:

(1) October 1, 2010, through October 31, 2010; and

(2) December 4, 2010, through January 1, 2011.

(c) An individual may take a wild turkey under this SECTION of this document with a firearm from:

(1) October 20, 2010, through October 24, 2010, in the counties listed in SECTION 2(c) of this document;

(2) October 20, 2010, through October 31, 2010, in the counties listed in SECTION 2(d) of this document.

SECTION 2. (a) This SECTION of this document is supplemental to 312 IAC 9-4-11(e)(3).

(b) An individual may take a wild turkey with a bow and arrow, including a crossbow, statewide during the season established in SECTION 1(b) of this document.

(c) An individual may take a wild turkey with a firearm in the following counties only from October 20, 2010, through October 24, 2010:

(1) Dekalb.

(2) LaGrange.

(3) LaPorte.

(4) Marshall.

(5) St. Joseph.

(6) Starke.

(7) Steuben.

(d) An individual may take a wild turkey with a firearm under this SECTION of this document in the following locations from October 20, 2010, through October 31, 2010:

(1) Bartholomew.

(2) Brown.

(3) Clark.

(4) Clay.

(5) Crawford.

(6) Daviess.

(7) Dearborn.

(8) Dubois.

(9) Fayette.

(10) Floyd.

(11) Fountain.

(12) Franklin.

(13) Gibson.

(14) Greene.

(15) Harrison.

(16) Jackson.

(17) Jefferson.

(18) Jennings.

(19) Knox.

(20) Lawrence.

(21) Martin.

(22) Monroe.

(23) Morgan.

(24) Ohio.

(25) Orange.

(26) Owen.

(27) Parke.

(28) Perry.

(29) Pike.

(30) Posey.

(31) Putnam.

(32) Ripley.

(33) Scott.

(34) Spencer.

(35) Sullivan.

(36) Switzerland.

SECTION 3. SECTIONS 1 and 2 of this document expire January 2, 2011.
