    Under IC 4-22-2-23, the Indiana Real Estate Commission intends to adopt a rule concerning the following:

    OVERVIEW: This rule makes changes regarding the approval of continuing education requirements for appraisers. Amends 876 IAC 3-2-4 to modify the requirements to reactivate an inactive license to require an appraiser to complete the continuing education requirements in 876 IAC 3-5-1 for all years the license was in "inactive" status, but require the licensee to complete the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice continuing education course within the preceding year the application for reactivation is filed. Amends 876 IAC 3-5 to implement rule changes based on Senate Enrolled Act 377-2007 regarding the approval of continuing education providers either by the Real Estate Appraiser Licensure and Certification Board or the Appraisal Qualifications Board under the oversight of the Appraisal Subcommittee.
