Notice of Intent to Adopt a Rule

Under IC 4-22-2-23, the Indiana Gaming Commission intends to adopt a rule concerning the following:

OVERVIEW: Amends 68 IAC 2-2-1 to strike the requirement that junketeers hold a supplier's license. Adds 68 IAC 2-3.5-1 to allow junket operators and junketeers to conduct business with Indiana casinos through a junketeer registration system and to provide for a registration fee and annual fee. Adds 68 IAC 2-3.5-2 to require that junket operators and junketeers maintain strict suitability standards that would not compromise the integrity of gaming in Indiana. Public comments are invited. Send written comments to the Small Business Regulatory Coordinator for this rule. Statutory authority: IC 4-33-4-2.
