Title: Interpretation of 675 IAC 14-4.3, 2005 Indiana Residential Code, Section R403.1.6

Purpose and Background: The purpose of this nonrule policy is to clarify the requirements for anchor bolts at interior load bearing walls.

Interpretation: The Commission hereby interprets Section R403.1.6 to allow adhesive anchoring at load bearing interior walls resisting gravity loads only, bearing on monolithic slabs.
