  • TITLE 872 INDIANA BOARD OF ACCOUNTANCY

Notice of Intent to Adopt a Rule
    LSA Document #12-264

Under IC 4-22-2-23, the Indiana Board of Accountancy intends to adopt a rule concerning the following:

OVERVIEW: Amends 872 IAC 1-1-10 by deleting language now overruled by IC 25-1-8-6(d). Repeals 872 IAC 1-1-29, which dealt with the procedure and fee for obtaining a replacement license; replacement licenses are now available free of charge to licensees on the PLA website. Amends 872 IAC 1-3-14 so the provisions of that section apply after 60 days instead of 18 months and modifies the requirements for reactivation to evidence of CPE compliance during the previous completed reporting period and a statement of employment since the expiration of the license. Amends 872 IAC 1-3-17 to eliminate the CPE cure period following the completion of the reporting period. Amends 872 IAC 1-6 to replace all references to "quality review" with "peer review". This change reflects the language in IC 25-2.1-5. Questions or comments concerning the proposed rules may be directed to: Indiana Professional Licensing Agency, Attn.: Compliance Director, Indiana Board of Accountancy, Indiana Government Center South, 402 West Washington Street, Room W072, Indianapolis, IN 46204-2700 or via e-mail at accountancy@pla.in.gov.
