Under IC 4-22-2-24, notice is hereby given that on June 5, 2013, at 9:15 a.m., at the Indiana Government Center South, 402 West Washington Street, Room W064, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Indiana Real Estate Commission will hold a public hearing on a proposed rule that adds 876 IAC 4-2-3.1 to establish the requirements for the eight hours of continuing education that real estate brokers are required by IC 25-34.1-9-11.1 to obtain between July 1, 2013, and June 30, 2014.

This rule is in response to legislation enacted in 2012 and will serve to be beneficial in that it will ensure licensee understanding of the new regulations affecting their practice.

Copies of these rules are now on file at the Indiana Government Center South, 402 West Washington Street, Room W072 and Legislative Services Agency, Indiana Government Center North, 100 North Senate Avenue, Room N201, Indianapolis, Indiana and are open for public inspection.
