Temporarily adds rules concerning scratch-off game number 146. Statutory authority: IC 4-30-3-9. Effective April 15, 2009.

SECTION 1. The name of scratch-off game is [sic] number 146 is "HIT $100!".

SECTION 2. Tickets in scratch-off game number 146 shall sell for two dollars ($2) per ticket.

SECTION 3. (a) Each ticket in scratch-off game number 146 shall contain a total of ten (10) play/prize symbols with one (1) play/prize symbol located in the area labeled "HIT $100" and nine (9) play/prize symbols located in the main play area.

(b) Each play/prize symbol includes a caption that corresponds with and verifies the play/prize symbols as follows:

(c) If a question arises as to the play/prize symbol, the play/prize symbol caption will be used for final clarification.

SECTION 4. The retailer validation code verifies instant winners in this game for prizes up to five hundred ninety-nine dollars ($599). The retailer validation code that corresponds with and verifies each of these winners is as follows:

SECTION 5. Neither the retailer validation code, the pack-ticket number, nor the validation number are play/prize symbols and are not usable or playable as such.

SECTION 6. A prize winner in scratch-off game number 146 is determined by removing the scratch-off material from the play and prize areas revealing a total of ten (10) play/prize symbols. If three (3) matching play/prize symbols are revealed, the ticket holder is entitled to win that amount. In the "HIT $100" play area, if the "" (HIT) symbol is revealed, the ticket holder is entitled to win one hundred dollars ($100) instantly.

SECTION 7. (a) The approximate number of possible prizes and the estimated odds for each prize level are as follows:

Total value of all prizes: $2,328,750

Prize payout: 64.69%

Overall odds: 1 in 4.55

Approximate print quantity: 1,800,000 (-3%/+1%)

(b) The prize and odds related information provided in subsection (a) is calculated based on an approximate print quantity. The actual quantity of tickets will vary.

(c) If the print quantity is changed during production of this game or due to subsequent reorders of the game, the ratio of prizes and total value of all prizes to the print quantity will be proportionately maintained so that the overall odds and prize payout percentage will approximate the values provided in subsection (a).

SECTION 8. Prizes are subject to prior sales. The availability of tickets for sale in a scratch-off game depends on retailer orders for tickets. Not all tickets may be made available for sale prior to game closing and opened packs of tickets may be returned by a retailer to the lottery under 65 IAC 3-4-1(b).

SECTION 9. If the director determines an end date for scratch-off game number 146, under 65 IAC 4-2-3(a), tickets may remain on sale during the game closing process, even if all prizes of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) have been claimed. Scratch-off game number 146 may be closed prior to all prizes being awarded.

SECTION 10. 65 IAC 4-1 through 65 IAC 4-3 apply to scratch-off game number 146, HIT $100!.

SECTION 11. This document expires sixty (60) days after the last claim date in scratch-off game 146.
