Public Notice Regarding the Addition of Selective Contracting for Psychosocial
Rehabilitation Services to the Medicaid Rehabilitation Option (b)(4) Waiver

The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) Office of Medicaid Policy and Planning (OMPP) publishes this notice of proposed changes to the Medicaid Rehabilitation Option (b)(4) waiver.

FSSA OMPP proposes to add selective contracting for psychosocial rehabilitation services to the Medicaid Rehabilitation Option (b)(4) Waiver. This change is being made in conjunction with an amendment to the Indiana Medicaid State Plan to add psychosocial rehabilitation as a covered service under the MRO program. The proposed service is necessary to reinforce the continuum of care by offering community based supports as the member transitions to an increased level of independence and community integration. Psychosocial rehabilitation service refers to a MRO service provided in a setting accredited by Clubhouse International, in which the member, with staff assistance, is engaged in operating all aspects of the clubhouse while receiving psychosocial rehabilitation services.
