Notice of Intent to Adopt a Rule

Under IC 4-22-2-23, the Department of Insurance intends to adopt a rule concerning the following:

OVERVIEW: Amends 760 IAC 3 regarding definitions, benefit standards for standardized Medicare supplement benefit plans, supplement benefit plan policies or certificates, required disclosure provisions, the prohibition against use of genetic information and requests for genetic testing, and to otherwise bring the rule in conformity with Title XVIII of the federal Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1395 et seq.). Written comments should be addressed to Meggan Brumbaugh, Department of Insurance, 311 West Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN, 46204. Statutory authority: IC 27-8-13-9; IC 27-8-13-10; IC 27-8-13-10.1.
