Notice of Intent to Adopt a Rule

Under IC 4-22-2-23, the Department of Insurance intends to adopt a rule concerning the following:

OVERVIEW: To set forth standards to protect active duty service members of the United States armed forces from dishonest and predatory insurance sales practices by declaring certain identified practices to be false, misleading, deceptive, or unfair and to otherwise implement IC 27-4-1-4. Written comments should be addressed to Meggan Brumbaugh, Department of Insurance, 311 West Washington Street, Suite 300, Indianapolis, IN 46204. Statutory authority: IC 27-4-1-4.
