TITLE 844 MEDICAL LICENSING BOARD OF INDIANA

Notice of Intent to Adopt a Rule

Under IC 4-22-2-23, the Medical Licensing Board of Indiana intends to adopt a rule concerning the following:

OVERVIEW: Adds 844 IAC 2.2-1.1 to add definitions relating to anesthesia under IC 25-27.5-5-4(f). Amends 844 IAC 2.2-2-1 through 844 IAC 2.2-2-6 to implement P.L.90-2007 (HEA 1241) regarding requirements for prescriptive authority for qualified licensed physician assistants and to make nonsubstantive changes by updating rule language and clarifying requirements. Repeals 844 IAC 2.2-1 regarding definitions and 844 IAC 2.2-2-7 regarding discipline of physician assistants.
