TITLE 345 INDIANA STATE BOARD OF ANIMAL HEALTH

Notice of Intent to Adopt a Rule LSA Document #10-123

Under IC 4-22-2-23, the Indiana State Board of Animal Health intends to adopt a rule concerning the following:

OVERVIEW: The rule will lower the bacteria count and somatic cell count standards for manufacturing grade raw milk. The rule will incorporate by reference various provisions of the 2009 revision of the Grade A Pasteurized Milk Ordinance. The rule will make other changes in the law governing manufacturing grade milk and milk products, 345 IAC 8. The rule changes are proposed to be partially effective 30 days after filing with the Publisher and partially effective January 1, 2011.
