Temporarily adds rules concerning scratch-off game number 0274. Statutory authority: IC 4-30-3-9. Effective February 23, 2011.

SECTION 1. The name of scratch-off game number 0274 is "$500,000 Money Match".

SECTION 2. Tickets in scratch-off game number 0274 shall sell for ten dollars ($10) per ticket, unless otherwise adjusted by temporary price reductions or other promotional activities conducted or authorized by the commission.

SECTION 3. Each ticket in scratch-off game number 0274 shall include five (5) separate and independent game areas labeled "GAME 1", "GAME 2", "GAME 3", "GAME 4", and "BONUS GAME". Each game area is played separately, and the play symbols and prize symbols in one (1) game area cannot be used as play or prize symbols in another game area.

SECTION 4. (a) Each ticket in scratch-off game number 0274 shall contain thirty-five (35) play symbols. The possible play symbols for each game area is as follows:

(1) "GAME 1" play symbols include:

(2) "GAME 2" play symbols include:

(3) "GAME 3" play symbols include:

(4) "GAME 4" play symbols include:

(5) "BONUS GAME" play symbols include:

(b) Each ticket in scratch-off game number 0274 shall contain a total of twenty-six (26) prize symbols in which each prize symbol will include a caption that corresponds with and verifies the prize symbol as follows:

(c) If a question arises as to a play or prize symbol, the caption that corresponds with the play or prize symbol will be used for final clarification.

(d) The game play data area for "GAME 1" shall be divided into two (2) distinct areas with an area labeled "LUCKY NUMBERS" that contains three (3) play symbols and an area labeled "YOUR NUMBERS" that contains nine (9) play symbols and nine (9) prize symbols with each play symbol above and corresponding to a prize symbol.

(e) The game play data area for "GAME 2" contains six (6) play/prize symbols.

(f) The game play data area for "GAME 3" shall be divided into three (3) distinct game areas labeled "GAME 1", "GAME 2", and "GAME 3" that each contain two (2) play symbols, labeled as "YOUR SYMBOL" and "WINNING SYMBOL". Each distinct game area contains one (1) prize symbol.

(g) The game play data area for "GAME 4" shall be divided into two (2) distinct areas with an area labeled "WINNING SYMBOLS" that contains two (2) play symbols and an area labeled "YOUR SYMBOLS" that contains eight (8) play symbols and eight (8) prize symbols with each play symbol above and corresponding to a prize symbol.

(h) The game play data area for "BONUS GAME" shall contain one (1) play symbol.

SECTION 5. The:

(1) retailer validation code;

(2) game/pack/ticket number; and

(3) validation number;

that appears on each ticket in scratch-off game number 0274 are for commission or retailer use only and cannot be used or played as a play or prize symbol to win a prize.

SECTION 6. (a) To play a ticket in scratch-off game number 0274, the ticket must be validly purchased and the scratch-off material covering the game play data area must be fully removed.

(b) For the game area labeled "GAME 1", if:

(1) any of the play symbols in the area labeled "YOUR NUMBERS" matches a play symbol in the area labeled "LUCKY NUMBERS", the ticket may be redeemed for a prize in the amount represented by the prize symbol that is located below and that corresponds with the matching play symbol;

(2) a "" (CLOVER) play symbol is revealed, the ticket may be redeemed for a prize in the amount represented by the prize symbol that is located below and that corresponds with that play symbol;

(3) a "" (DOLLAR SIGNS) play symbol is revealed, the ticket may be redeemed for double (2x) the amount represented by the prize symbol located below and corresponding with that play symbol.

(c) For the game area labeled "GAME 2", if three (3) matching play/prize symbols are revealed, then the ticket may be redeemed for a prize in the amount represented by the three (3) matching play/prize symbols.

(d) For the game area labeled "GAME 3", if the "YOUR SYMBOL" matches the "WINNING SYMBOL" in any individual game area, the ticket may be redeemed for a prize in the amount represented by the prize symbol that is located to the right of and that corresponds with the two (2) matching play symbols.

(e) For the game area labeled "GAME 4", if:

(1) any of the play symbols in the area labeled "YOUR SYMBOLS" matches a play symbol in the area labeled "WINNING SYMBOLS", the ticket may be redeemed for a prize in the amount represented by the prize symbol that is located below and that corresponds with the matching play symbol;

(2) a "" (COIN) play symbol is revealed, the ticket may be redeemed for double (2x) the amount represented by the prize symbol located below and corresponding with that play symbol.

(f) For the game area labeled "BONUS GAME", if a "" (STAR) play symbol is revealed, then the ticket may be redeemed for a prize in the amount of one hundred dollars ($100).

SECTION 7. (a) The approximate number of possible prizes and the estimated odds for each prize level are as follows:

Total value of all prizes*: $17,185,000

Prize payout: 71.6%

Overall odds: 1 in 3.56

Approximate print quantity: 2,400,000 (+1%)

(b) The approximate number of prizes and the estimated odds provided in subsection (a) are calculated based on an approximate total print quantity of tickets. The actual quantity of tickets printed may vary by plus one percent (+1%). The actual number of prizes and the odds for each prize amount will vary depending on the actual quantity of tickets.

(c) If the print quantity is changed during production of this game or due to subsequent reorders of the game, the ratio of prizes and total value of all prizes to the print quantity will be proportionately maintained so that the overall odds and prize payout percentage will approximate the values provided in subsection (a).

(d) Five hundred thirty thousand dollars ($530,000) in prizes [sic] to be awarded through the Hoosier Lottery's MORE MONEY 2nd Chance Promotion. The value of the 2nd chance prizes are included in the total value of prizes but are not reflected in odds calculations.

SECTION 8. The MORE MONEY 2nd Chance Promotion Rules adopted by Hoosier Lottery on February 4, 2011, are hereby incorporated by reference and shall govern the conduct of the Hoosier Lottery MORE MONEY 2nd Chance promotion. The incorporated document is available for public view at www.hoosierlottery.com. A copy of the rules may be obtained at Hoosier Lottery headquarters.

SECTION 9. This document expires sixty (60) days after the last claim date established for scratch-off game 0274.
