Notice of Intent to Adopt a Rule

Under IC 4-22-2-23, the Natural Resources Commission intends to adopt a rule concerning the following:

OVERVIEW: Adds 312 IAC 18-3-21 under the article pertaining to entomology and plant pathology to regulate Hydrilla (Hydrilla verticillata) as a pest or pathogen. Prohibits the possession of this plant species, including the transport of the plant on aquatic equipment and gives the DNR the authority to regulate an infested body of water to prevent the movement of the plant to other waters.
