    DIGEST

    Temporarily amends 312 IAC 9-7-2 to establish a limit on the number of hooks that can be used on a rig or lure array used for sportfishing. Effective February 25, 2012.


    SECTION 1. (a) This SECTION supersedes 312 IAC 9-7-2(c).

    (b) An individual may take fish with not more than three (3) poles, hand lines, or tip-ups at a time. Except as provided in 312 IAC 9-7-2(k), an individual must affix to each line not more than:
    (1) two (2) hooks;
    (2) two (2) harnesses for use with live bait;
    (3) two (2) artificial baits; or
    (4) one (1) rig or lure array for use with multiple artificial baits with not more than five (5) hooks.

    SECTION 2. SECTION 1 of this document expires on January 1, 2013.
